Just to introduce ourselves, briefly, we were the pioneers in initiating the business of importing Japanese vehicles in the Auto Industry, which was far back in 1984 and began with the clever perception of the sole owner and the active Managing Director, Mr Upeksha De Silva to take this challenge to build a new market of introducing used and recondition vehicles to Sri Lanka, where at that time our country was only familiar and monopolized with vehicles only of European models.
Since our Sri Lankan people were not mentally prepared to purchase vehicles other than from the European Market, it was very difficult to convince the Sri Lanka market of the volubility and the economical gains of Japanese Auto Industry. Gradually, year after year, by sheer determination and due to the quality of Japanese vehicles which we introduced to the local market expanded, we at U.S Car Sales (Pvt) Ltd, became successful of achieving and building a steady market here in Sri Lanka, where at present all the other Auto Trader’s also enjoy.
Whilst carrying out this business during these years we also became successful in achieving a reasonable niche in the Sri Lankan economy by also importing auto parts to the country.
At present, the management and staff at U.S Car Sales (Pvt) Limited have gradually ascended to have achieved a distinguished name for all automotive industry in Sri Lanka and plays a leading role of importing the best brands of vehicles from Japan.
In brief, we now have built up strong ties with the leading Car dealers in the Japanese market which give us a clear advantage in marketing and meeting with our valued Customer’s needs for high quality Japanese brand new and reconditioned cars, with a variety of models, at very attractive and competitive prices to fit in to your budget.

The history of our business runs far back in the year 1984 and completes steadily for nearly 34 years. As a grooming young boy of 24 years I pioneered with careful skill to lead my Group of Companies which includes importing of high quality Japanese vehicles, genuine spare parts and a back up service to be one of the reputed and respected Japanese Vehicle Trading Companies, here in Sri Lanka.
My strong ties with the reliable car dealers and suppliers in Japan, over the years, give our customer’s needs for delivering high quality vehicles at attractive and completive rates.
